Foster or Foster-to-Adopt a Senior Dog Today!

Betsy.jpg

Betsy

Betsy is a 12-year-old pitbull who joined our rescue after being left on the streets. Shortly after arrival, she was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and promptly received proper care and

medication, leading to a significant improvement in her health. Betsy would flourish in a house-hold with no other dogs, where she can receive ample attention and affection from her owner.

Max.jpeg

Max

Max is a 10-year-old Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Mix and an overall good boy. He would thrive in a home with no other animals and a patient, understanding owner. Max enjoys walks, is a  great eater,

and loves having a yard to run and explore at his own pace. While he has a few quirks, including resource-guarding behavior around food and small objects like socks, he’s never aggressive—just protective of his things.

Max’s current foster has two bonded sisters who don’t always give him the attention he deserves, so he’d do best in a home where he can get the love and space he needs. When given room to adjust, Max can be very affectionate and cuddly, depending on his mood.

Max is also currently on Levothyroxine for a thyroid condition, which is being managed. If you’re looking for a sweet and loyal companion, Max could be the perfect fit!
